Yeah, but that's still better than MADONNA being #1 . . . give me a f*%^k*&ng break. Even back in what would be considered her prime, she wasn't (prime)!

I guess some people (Daniel Eran Dilger) watched that SNL tribute to Mike Myers that aired recently, and some people (WHiiP) didn't! Madonna was in that skit (forget whether it was a cameo appearance or whether she actually hosted or sang in that episode), hence the #1 spot to bridge over to that funny "Justify My Love"-style dream sequence.

So back to the topic at hand:

The article doesn't really outline the 10 features, and there are certainly more than 10 paragraphs on the subject, but here are some that I found interesting:

LLVM, the Low Level Virtual Machine compiler
CUPS 1.4
ZFS "read and write support for Sun’s new 128-bit file system"
Exchange Server support
Push Notification Service, "iPhone and iPod touch users to set up server side notification alerts"
Auto Font Activation of any fonts requested by any application
losing weigh dramatically, smaller app sizes
Resolution Independence
Localization "centralized way to get rid of the unnecessary [languages]"

Smaller applications means faster launch times, hopefully faster performance and maybe even lower RAM usage. Support for Exchange Server is great for continuing adoption into the corporate world. Resolution Independence is pretty much a foregone conclusion in my mind, I don't know why this wasn't in OS X from the start.
