Regular Drinking beer would be Summit Extra Pale Ale, from St. Paul, MN

Their Winter Lager is great (especially on tap) in season...

It kind of pains me to admit that I buy it at Sam's Club...

The best tasting American beer I've sampled is Alaskan Amber; flavorful, no bite, smooth, hints of hops and malt, just a great taste. Unfortunately, it's unavailable in my neck of the woods, so I drink Bass Ale.

It really depends on the mood. Caffrey's Irish Ale on tap is good when you want to eat, Guiness on tap, room temp, is good when you don't (the beer that drinks like a meal).

At one bar all I drink (on tap) is Pilsner Urquell, at the other it's Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. At home I've been buying a lot of Red Hook ESB. From Trader Joe's, BrouCzech Lager is a very good value at $4.49.

I agree on your first three, but I will never drink mass market, big business beer (life is too short).

I found a new favorite in every new place I visited in Germany. Don't remember the names. Had some good brews in Amsterdam, too.

Unfortunately it's a thing of the past since Mr. Migraine moved in with me.

Microbrew is Alaskan Amber, or Pete's Wicked Ale, or just about anything from the Maritime Pacific Brewery here in Seattle, for macrobrews Henry W's Classic dark. It was a year round, but now just a winter seasonal (those bastiges!).

Mac and Jack African Amber. I'm proud to say I make a mean clone of it. In fact, I have 5 gallons in the fermenter right now, should be kegged by mid week.

My grad school advisor made an excellent (but very powerful) dark beer. One of those and I was off the Designated Driver list.

I guess he'd be considered a Nano-brewery.

ka: I lived in Madison a few years ago for three months. I really enjoyed the beers at the Great Dane. If you get there, you need to try the 'cask conditioned' beers. Those beers have lots of wonderful flavor. They also have lots of alcohol. I had to limit myself to only one per visit or else I couldn't drive home.

While the Great Dane's beer are English style, there was also a brewery that made German style beer, named Capital Brewery as I recall. Their beers were top-notched too.
