I had one of these for about twenty years. Great toilet. When it was replaced with a contemporary tank toilet, I finally learned it's proper name; a "sloan valve toilet." The first site I found them on had a a pretty good troubleshooting guide.Quote

I had to replace an old toilet (metal pipe between the tank and bowl, I would have fixed if could find part) about five years ago.

It looked a lot like this 1920 toilet:
I can look for a name later, it's in the yard with petunias growing in it.
A neighbor has flowers in a wheelbarrow and another flowers in a tipped over barrel.
I have a toilet.
