saw Capote yesterday..

This was last discussed a couple of weeks ago, but I thought I'd mention it again for those that may have missed it..

That was one of the best films I've seen in recent memory. Hoffman *became* Capote and if he doesn't win the Oscar, it'll be a crime. Amazing stuff.

For other Hoffman flicks, Love, Liza and Owning Mahoney are great as well...with the former being a bit dark...

He's been in just a few shows. Personally, for years, I have considered him to be probably the best american actor.

While I generally like P.S. Hoffman, I have to say he was bloody AWFUL in "Cold Mountain," but then everyone was.

if you like don cheadle, check out "manic"...it has it's flaws, but gives a pretty good rendition of a mental hospital...
