[news.yahoo.com]-
SYDNEY (AFP) - An Australian grandmother was honoured with a bravery award for wrestling a giant saltwater crocodile as it dragged her friend from a tent.
Alicia Sorohan, 61, was awoken in the early hours of the morning of October 11, 2004 by the screams of family friend Andrew Kerr in a nearby tent at their campsite on the northern Cape York peninsular.

"Why not keep going back? There's risk everywhere. You could get run over by a bus if you walk across the road."

I used to think like this, too. Then I realized that not many buses were running people over while they were camped next to crocodile infested waters.

"Seeing her friend in the jaws of a 4.2 metre (14-foot), 300 kilogram (660 pound) crocodile, Sorohan "did what anyone would do" and jumped on its back.

The man-eater then turned on her, breaking her nose and almost ripping her arm off before her son Jason shot it."

BUT, BUT, BUT, she had help. grinning smiley

The croc hunter never really impressed me.

The croc dude stopped impressing me when a large zoo croc was very close to taking a chomp of the Croc guy's newborn baby. He brought the little one into a crocodile display and was doing something stupid and things got a little shaky for a sec.

My friend looked at me once when I mentioned the croc guy to him and said, "that guys a f*****g alcoholic!!!" and looked at me like he knew this for a fact. It made me laugh really hard to see how sure my friend was about this.

I have never wrestled a crocodile but, now that an old lady has done it, i probably should.

The Croc man reminds of Cramer of Walstreet.
