Very bummed my camera got wet and is very intermittent. Guess I'll give a light touch from the hair dryer tonite. Trying to rent a cam for the few days here.
Bandwidth has been hit or miss or I'd a posted a shot or too.

Hope there are still banks in the US that haven't been bailed out when I return.

I would love to see the pics. I guess you can use your mattress as your bank. Have fun and don't worry about the camera.

found an old Canon IX55 for rent thru my guide. Have many pics from Mekong boat trip today and some shots from atop Mount Phousi. Unfortunately, sunset was nothing exciting.
My camera continues to slowly recover too.
I'll have a BeerLao with din tonite me thnks.

This is a real nice mellow town after 3 weeks in noisy Vietnam.
Lots of young backpackers from Australia, NZ and western Europe, working their way around the world.
