Currency exhange rates at Powell's (pop quiz)

Was just in there getting a book and noticed a chalk board listing all the currency they would accept and the exchange rates of the day. They had Canadian, Euros, Pesos, Yen, a couple others and Quatloos, for which to current rate is 3.7 Quatloos to the dollar.

Hmm, I said, "Wish I had a Quatloo or two, that's a pretty good rate."

She smiled demurely and said, "Yeah, me too. Do you know where they come from?"

I had to admit I didn't but I thought they sounded like somewhere in the Middle East.

She said, " they're from......"

First one with the correct answer wins a muskrat. Bragging rights if you don't have to Google the answer.

How do they check the Quatloo to make sure that they're not counterfeit?

They're from Triskellion...

And I bet 5 Quatloo's that I misspelled that.

Yes!! We have a winner. We'll all trust that you didn't Google. And if you didn't need to Google then perhaps you need to turn off the TV and get out more. Star Trek conventions don't count. Here's your muskrat. You may pick him up at your convenience at Smith-Bybee lake (I don't deliver, bring swim trunks):

I too knew they were Triskellion. I was just engaged in activities that involve females, and was thus otherwise occupied, and unable to post first.

Paul F, that chick from the Mercury commercials was asking about you again.....

... to walk in the door of a dealership and buy a car.

There, I finished that statement for you. B)
