I have John Legend Pepsi Smash VIP Tickets

I have VIP tickets and Meet & Greet tickets for Thurs Aug 14. More tickets than I can use. Thing is I think I would like his music but am not familiar with it really. I hear he plays the piano. Is he like Harry Connick Jr or jazzier? I am at work and can't explore his tunes but an wondering what his music is like.
