A couple weeks back Fry's/Outpost.com had a Hitachi 250GB for $70 AR. That was a good deal.

BTW, Fry's owns Outpost.com. If a deal is available at Fry's, there is a good chance it's also available at Outpost (and vice versa). Take, for example, the Fry's deal mentioned by Ken:

On Thankgiving day I got a 200gb from Staples for $29.99 AR. Now THAT was a sweet deal!

I think Best Buy is even further from me than Frys...

Round these parts, I've got Costco, Circuit City, Office Max, and Staples for the usual deals.

Thanks N-OS X-tasy!. I saw the ad for the WD and had that urge for instant gratification. The pleasant anticipation of an online ordered product is nice but nothing beats having the product in one hand as you use the other to hand over the cash (or card...).

Now that I think about is, I've got an 80GB WD sitting around in a 9600 that I haven't started up for months. Might be a good candidate for this MDD.
