Recommend a Verizon phone, pls

Time to replace my aging Moto V710. Basically, I'm looking for good battery life, BT headset, speaker phone, good volume when not using the speaker phone, voice dialing, decent camera and maybe a QWERTY key pad for texting.

I haven't seen anything of theirs yet that really has it all covered. Been looking around phonescoop.com but again nothing stands out so far.

My GF has had one of their LG models for a bit over a year. She is ready to junk it and never like it.

I have an LG enV that has most if not all of your requirements. I think it's been replaced with a new model - the enV2. Might want to check that one out.

I have had all of the 'enV' models (even before they were called that)...and I upgraded to the new one as soon as it was available...much smaller and feels great to talk with, and then when you need the large screen and keyboard, just flip it open. Very loud speakers for calling...music....videos...etc.

The enV2 is the LG-VX9100 model.

Joe - I just got the new Motorola Adventure v750 and like it a lot. It is a flip style phone in the RAZR family and is a PTT (push to talk) unit, but you DO NOT have to activate that feature. Large screen outside and better inside. I've waited a long time for this phone, replacing my old e815 (the upgrade from your phone). I have big hands and old eyes, and this phone finally does what I need a phone to do - be a phone I can use with a UI I can actually see. If need be, there is an extended power battery and large "back plate" available. Take a look.

I just got an env2. It's a nice phone with great battery life.

You can google some of the reviews for it.

I might have overpaid. I was out-of-contract and I only got $50 off the price. After rebate I think it's about $130. I think if you call Verizon, you might be able to get it for $79 w/o rebates.

I'm on an old plan, so mobile web usage is deducted from my minutes rather than charged at $2.99/mb, which is ridiculous since you pay for ad banners. Mobile web is ok if you don't need a true browser. It's great for stock quotes, mail, scores, news and websites that have partnered w/verizon, like bank of america, schwab.
