If you have a McDonald's nearby, they have a little hot fudge sundae that you could get by going through the drive through.

I've got a fantastic chocolate eclair in the fridge. It's really full of the most wonderful custard, mmmm!

Take some cocoa power, a little bit of sugar, a dash of salt, and a bit of milk and microwave on high until it bubbles hard. Add a dollop of butter and mw again until the butter melts and the concoction again comes to a full boil. It's really fudgey and gooey, and it will take eating only a spoonful or two until your craving is satisfied.
I haven't been that desperate for a while, but it does work. And, considering how little of it you can eat, it's not nearly as fattening as that eclair GeneL is going to pork out on later.

I had a hankering for Ice Cream today so went to a mexican place nearby that's really really (really) cheap. This place is a total find...I tried "cheese" Ice Cream-- made with this stuff, I think:

Desperation. Standing in the kitchen wondering what I had in the house that would satisfy the craving! Actually, the ingredients are pretty much what you'd use to make fudge sauce using cocoa powder, but putting it in the mw lets you do just a small amount. And it's really, really good if you pour the extremely hot fudgey stuff over vanilla ice cream - even better if you happen to have some Dreyers coffee flavored ice cream!
Sam sent me a PM and said it was good stuff!
