It looks like vendors are working hard to clear inventory and that means new stuff can't be too far off. And that's a very good thing. :-)

Yes, both Amazon and Small Dog have the 8-core 2.8GHz Mac Pro at $2500. Very tempting.

If you decide to go for this deal go through live cashback and get an extra $70-$100 back. I did this and am getting an extra $72 back for my purchase. Although I don't think B&H is an authorized Apple dealer, they have great customer service and are one of the highest rated stores for customer satisfaction.
