Hi!!!!!!ONE! Thanks for the well wishes! I actually missed this too before I left work. I was checking the forum because of my Home Depot thread.

My birthday evening is what my coworker called an "adult birthday" aka delightfully boring. I went to HD to check out that washer, then met my boy at home to have dinner here: [www.locandavinieolii.com] which is a couple of blocks from our new apartment in a much nicer and safer neighbourhood of Brooklyn. Here's what we had off the menu:

Belle di Cerignola (green olives from Puglia soaked in rosemary olive oil)
Lamb Prosciutto With pear & rosemary marmelade
Charchuturie From the Sea - Octopus Sopressata and Tuna salami

Gnocchi with Tomato & Basil
Chestnut Lasagnette (chestnut flour lasagna), Chick Peas and Luganega (a sausage)

Grilled Duck Breast with Caramelized Shallots with Chick Peas and E. V. Olive Oil
Branzino (sea bass) Al Cartoccio with Shallots and Oven Braised Endives.

We had a moderately wet Verdicchio white wine to go with it. Oh man...I could LIVE on that duck breast, it was that juicy. I've never had duck breast that good! I highly recommend going there for anyone who wants good Italian food in Brooklyn. Take the C train to the Clinton-Washington stop.

Nonetheless, thank you all again for the birthday wishes. As for the cookie business it was on hold for the last few weeks because I was on vacation upstate, then returned and had to move to our new place. I'm making deliveries again starting on Saturday. I'm going to look for another place in my new neighbourhood though, just to possibly balance it out and to use up a lot of the chocolate I purchased.
