Just did a wipe and install of Panther on GF's iMac 600 G3. Forgot about all the unnecessary stuff.

When I did that, I began removing them using a tip I read in Macworld. But after a while, I realized it would be easier to just reinstall Panther, making sure to check (or is it uncheck) the necessary box to prevent their installation.

Don't forget all the printer drivers you'll never need in /Library/Printers. You'll probably have to nuke them on your own.

If you haven't put much data on this Install, I'd reinstall.

No printer drivers, none, either. Just get what you need from the manufactures web site.

Unless you're still using an Epson 740.
