I don't understand why people keep posting stuff about this Ferrari crash. I try to look at the articles but honestly, why should I care? I don't get it.

Because it's a Ferrari, I guess. I think to car aficionados this is the equivalent of smashing an Amati violin.

Plus it has so much intrigue, what with the guy's ties to the "Swedish Mafia" and whatnot.
Swedish Mafia. There's a scary thought.

I'm with Stevie, who cares. I'd rather read a post about what things weigh. Actually, that's not true, those posts are equally as stupid.

I just didn't understand what all the fuss is about. I am not sure that I do now.

Oh, well. Maybe someone can weigh the Ferrari. :-D

I don't understand people that post to a thread saying they don't have any interest in such things. There's plenty of other topics to choose from, and as long as the subject line isn't deceptively written don't these people have navel lint to sort?

"The car's owner... told Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies at the scene of the Feb. 21 accident in Malibu that he was deputy commissioner of the San Gabriel Valley Transit Authority's police anti-terrorism unit....
A few minutes after the crash, two unidentified men arrived at the scene, flashing badges and saying they were from "homeland security," according to Sheriff's Department officials.
Deputies allowed the men into the accident scene, where they spoke to Stefan Eriksson before leaving...."

So the office of this "transit authority" is an auto repair shop and these guys have badges that identify them as part of an "anti-terrorism unit?" A paratransit operation needs a police agency? There's much more to this story.

To me, this is very interesting. Thanks for posting.
