My nephew, a first year architectural student, "dropped" his new Mac Pro notebook. Reportedly it looked like a "W" . He took it to the Apple Store where they noted that that kind of damage was not covered, but offered to replace it for $200.

That is IMPRESSIVE. That puts the 'Care' back in Applecare.
