RAAAAMMMMM !!! Zombie iBook coming back to life...

I've finally taken pity on my 10 year old, and have decided to try to bring his DOA iBook Se/466 back to life. Checklist:
Replacement battery, eBay, $40. Check. Works.
512M RAM, OWC, $35. Check. On order.

It's running OS 10.3, so that's good enough for now. We'll see what it does once it's got some RAM goodness. (Currently at 192M, which is shuffling Zombie slow..)

Mine works pretty good with 320 MB installed, 576 MB should be better than "shuffling Zombie slow". No speed demon, but adequate to run 10.3 and do some basic work. I might have to get another battery or have one rebuilt soon though.

Stick w/ Panther - plays very nice on my G3 Macs, including an iMac 600MHz.

Slow?

My 400MHz pismo isn't slow on anything except YouTube/video taxing processes.
And I'm comparing that to my MB.
