6GB RAM for MacBooks, MBP

The good news is this seems to be a viable option, and not just for the most recent laptop models.

So I went to OWC site and checked out RAM.

2 x 2 GB RAM modules - $59

1-4 GB module is



$449.99!!!

I think I'll stick with 4GB RAM for awhile.

Any benefit going to 3GB from 2GB on the new MB/MBP? The 2GB upgrade is $65. Don't know that I would want to buy 2x2GB as I would upgrade to the 6GB once the prices drop.

I think 3GB would be noticeable if you are using parallels, etc.
