That's a nice sentiment Michael and I would echo it.
In addition to all the other things I'm thankful for,
I am also thankful the friendships of all the folks here.

That's great michael_s. I am also thankful for all the help that I get here, some people are really willing to reach out. I can always count on your guys for advice.
Me too, but I get out a 2 pm, so I will have the afternoon and evening with family. I hope your get tomorrow off at least!

SO and I will be going over to my sister's again this year. I buy the pies and make green bean casserole. Sister makes a great turkey and stuffing. 
It is sunny and bright today with an expected high of 45º.
I am old enough now that I can say if you and yours have your health, you have everything.

Thanks to all of you also.
I don't get too far away from the computer these days and visiting this place provides a sense of community.
Thank you also for the support this fall when I lost my mom.
Above all else I am thankful for my family. They put up with me and make my life complete.

Nothing original to add, just want to echo what has already been said.
Thanks to all of you- those I agree with on various topics and those I don't. Those who make me smile and those who make me think. Those who are here every day, those who pop in from time to time and those who are no longer with us except in spirit.
For a myriad of reasons, this has been a difficult year, but today is the perfect time to put things in perspective and be grateful for the important things that sometimes get overshadowed in the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
I am thankful to have found this corner of cyberspace and to count you among my friends.
May you all have a wonderful holiday (whether you are celebrating one today or not!)
