Shanghai Ghetto a documentary

Perhaps some of our Jewish members or historians know this story but it was a real revelation to me. We all know of the Holocaust, the Phantom boat of Jewish refugees turned back by the US...but I had no idea of the migration of refugees from Germany going to a Shanghai ghetto.

The whole makeup of Shanghai at that time was interesting. Little islands of humanity unto themselves.

Netflix the movie. Narrated by Martin Landau. Riveting IMO.
