I also stumbled upon this LG DVD writer on clearance, LG GSA-E60L 20x DVD±RW USB 2.0 External Drive w/LightScribe. It was listed as normallly $99.99 on clearance for $76.XX. . .

to my surprise when I checked out the price was $53.XX with 10% off for clearance = $48.XX. . .

checked around and geeks has it for $42.99 but with shipping comes out to about the same and the writer seems to be mac compatible. . .
