Review: Belkin Flip DVI-D - Cheap Dual Link KVM does the job! Date: January 06, 2009 08:50PM |
I've been getting my Dell 3007 set up and one issue to solve is the lack of inputs. my 2405 had five, this monitor has one but i prefer to use two.
Enter the Belkin Flip DVI-D
Its a KVM switch with built in cables. It'll take dual link dvi signals, usb keyboard and mouse, and audio from two machines and allow you to smoothly switch between the two. I have mine hooked up to my MacBook Pro and MacMini. Works perfectly, what else is there to say?
Oh, and the deal - I got it on eBay for $75 and picked it up locally. Goes for $125 on amazon which is still cheap.

Just curious - do you get full 2560 x 1600 resolution from the mini? I didn't think the mini graphics supported that.

nope! no way for that to happen. but the display does show its 1920 x 1200 or whatever resolution.
