Quick eBay payment advice needed please.

I want to allow international bidders for a listing I'm about to put on ebay. Since I have only a personal Paypal account, I can't say I accept paypal, so what is the safest legit method of payment to accept for international bidders? I mention USPS Money Order for domestic purchases. Bidpay is no longer. What's an occasional seller with an item for the international market to do?

Thanks.

Just say you take PayPal but not from international bidders. Western Union only.

If the OP says he takes PayPal from domestic buyers, he has to be willing to upgrade to a premier account the first time he gets a CC payment. Sounds like he doesn't want to do that, so all PayPal is out.

WU wire transfers (indeed, any wire transfers) are no longer allowed per eBay's Safe Payments Policy.

Until BidPay restarts operations (which it is supposed to in the near future), your safest options are International Postal Money Orders and bank transfers. If you go for bank transfers, make sure it's an account you sue only for eBay, and sweep funds regularly. Also make sure your bank doesn't charge huge fees for incoming transfers, and it's not a bad idea to block outgoing transfers.
