Oh, great, I don't have M$ Office on my Mac. Now how do I view this file? Where can find the downloaded one? How do I direct all downloads to my desktop instead? TiA

Check your Documents folder or search using ".ppt"

Downloadable copy of PowerPoint?
Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac Test Drive (11.2.1)

PowerPoint 98 Viewer for Macintosh Might or might not work in classic.

You can route all downloads to Desktop. Its in the browser preferences. I dont know which browser you are using, they are a little different.

You can also use OpenOffice to open the file.
