What happened to the Suggestions Sticky post? Where oh where will we all be able to nitpick, bitch and moan about this new forum?!

Hey admin, any word about possibly getting an option to "turn off" other people's repetitively annoying sigs without disabling pics entirely?

Don't make me use reverse psychology on everyone and make a sig with a GIANT flashing neon pink R2-D2 scrolling back and forth across the screen every time i post a response...

Maybe someone suggested that they remove it

Another way to go would be links to the images when you have them disabled. Back on the other forum, I always keep pics disabled. One click and I can see an image if I care to. And thus I am never bothered by anybody's sigs. And as a bonus, all the threads load instantly when I open them.

My annoyingly repetitive R2-D2 image prog has been set in motion. The sig is growing already and i can't make it stop!

I vote with $tevie and 3d, I would REALLY appreciate the option to turn off images, but have clickable links for when we wish to view a particular image.

Over on the other forum, a certain poster was fond of using tons of flashing, jumping, dancing, running, animated images - rows and rows of them in the same sig. I thought I'd lose my mind! I started using Omniweb in order to selectively disable specific images that bugged me. I'm much happier now. ;)

We wanted to work through those suggestions already made... start making some progress admin could show. As we get the basic stuff done here -as we get the rest of the site built back up around - as the coding comes back into focus for the extra bonus round of forum feature additions - going to be moving more and more towards the 100% mark of making all parties as happy as possible.
