Suppose I saved a movie file after cutting out a part I actually needed...

Any way to recall the original file? Working with a quicktime movie. I can re-render the original but that's gonna take a long time, any tricks to un-delete? (even though I didn't really delete the file in entirety?)

Not in my experience. I've tried using Data Rescue to recover a file which I overwrote with a different file of the same name and it didn't even see the older version which I needed.

Hmm, ok then. I guess it's a good thing it's Friday, I can just leave my machine rendering when I leave and have it all back on Monday. Thanks.
