Leader @ the Coldplay concert

Apparently Steve was at the same Coldplay concert my son & I went to this past Monday @ Shoreline in Mountain View.

It was a great show and I really enjoyed their Michael Jackson tribute when they played their version of Billie Jean.

My son just forwarded me this link to a Coldplay Roadies Blog - Read the last 3 paragraphs... Too funny!

Now that Bono has gone to be a wh*re for Blackberry, why not take in a show with the band that wants to be U2?

The doctor told the leader to get lots of rest. I cannot think of anyone more boring than coldplay. So he got should have got plenty of nap time.

Coldplay is another band (well, "a" band, considering the other act I'd mentioned was Stevie Wonder) who went out of their way to be nice to the kids on the cancer ward here in ATL. Had a bunch of them backstage for a long meet-and-greet before their last concert here, and gave the kids prime seats for the show.

I personally can't stand their music, but good on 'em as people.

Steve has a son who's either just graduated from High School or will be a senior this coming year. Perhaps he took him to the concert ("See, Dad's kinda hip." )

My wife was at the same concert. She loved it. I'm hoping to go to their Houston show next Wednesday.

I rather like Coldplay, though the last two albums have been pretty weak.

I like their music. But most music I like sucks. So, they must suck.

LOL!

I could think of worse music than Coldplay. I'd dare say they're currently better than U2 (I know, not a very high target to aim for IMO).

Think I posted a couple of weeks ago about seeing them at the Fillmore in San Francisco in 2001ish, back during the Parachutes days. Was actually a very good show. Had no idea they would get as big as they've become.
