VMWare fusion question

Are VMWare Fusion VMs supposed to be able to run on regular VMWare? If not, how can I get them to?

I realize I can probably google and find this, but I'm at an event with 75k people and trying to help the server guys...

Yes, you can open a Fusion VM in VMWare Player on Windows. You might need to change a couple lines in the vmx file... Off the top of my head I can't recall.
