Check out this surveillance video as thieves break into an Apple Store in South Jersey and remove 23 MacBook Pros, 14 iPhones and 9 iPod touches in 31 seconds flat.

A patrolling guard inside? Wow, things have sure changed since I worked retail. Back then, only employees had access to the interior after-hours.

Previously mentioned last week here, [forums.macresource.com]. Joust mentioning that so people don't think there was a repeat B&E at a different store.

Er . . . what exactly is the point of those cables then?

Deeply embarrassed to admit this, but I never actually tried to yank a laptop off its cable at the AS or Microcenter.
