well the tracking info had me all excited to get my imac the next day and i really thought it was coming but no luck 3 pm came and went with no imac , it's now 8:40 am and still no imac. what i do not understand is why didn't i get it last night with that station being open till 8 pm it is over night shipping just venting and hoping it shows up soon.

yes the just updated it from "Package at station, arrived after courier dispatch" to "On FedEx vehicle for delivery" just had a fedex truck pull into my block he made 3 stops and drove right by my house now i am really pissed. i have been moving all my media to a firewire drive to load up the imac when it comes.

well it's after 5pm and no imac , fedex is giving me all types of stories should i call apple and say something? this is far from overnight shipping should i not be pissed?

If it's on the FedEx truck then it's not Apple's problem. I can't see much point in calling Apple. What do you think, that they will stop using FedEx after they hear about this?

I would be pissed. You might call Apple and just let them know that "absolutely positively got be there overnight"(an old FedEx slogan) just didn't happen. I don't know if they can help, I doubt it, but they should know that their shipper of choice let them down. If they paid for overnight delivery then they got screwed, too.

I still hope it shows up today.

$tevie didn't mean to imply that it was apple's fault but figured what the hell maybe i'll get some free itunes music for my trouble. fedex finally came around 6pm the driver said they are swamped and he got a lot of overtime last week so people got sent home yesterday , he did say call and complain they might refund my money to bad it was free.well it's time to set up my new beast.
