You probably get a coupon in the mail, not the chicken itself, eh?

Pouches are the new cans. It's the same as getting a can of something sent through the mail. I guess. I would be worried it would get torn but, judging by how difficult the cat food pouches are to open, it is probably not likely that would happen.

i think the best part about the pouches is you don't have drain all dat juice (water or oil). . .and they are great to carry on a picnic. . .or for lunch since you don't need a can opener to open it. . .

Hey, if a pouch of Downy Whitening detergent can arrive safely to your mailbox. I'm sure a pouch of chicken chunks will have no problem.

Huh, I wonder how this compares to tuna in pouches -- I haven't tried that stuff yet, but people here have said that it's as good or better than canned tuna?

If so, this is an idea whose time may have come... one of the reason canned chicken never caught on is that people always complained of a metallic taste (not a problem with tuna though, obviously)... am guessing that wouldn't be a problem with pouches, and it would be pretty convenient to be able to have fairly nonperishable, precooked chicken.

As for how they're going to send it... well... I'm still curious how the ice cream sample is going to get here frozen.

I've been eating the "tuna lunches" for years. They shifted to the pouches a couple of years ago. They are fine. The stuff tastes the same and is easier to get out of the packages than the old single-serving cans.

Promotion ended...

I already had a plan for it, but that's ok. I don't know why they call this stuff helper. It does just fine by itself, huh?

Michael, that's good to know. I wonder what the shelf life of the tuna (chicken) in pouches is, versus cans? Cans last for years and years and years, IIRC. I'd think the same would be true for pouches, assuming they're vacuum sealed and that there's no gas permeability of the plastic (there shouldn't be, if they are foil-lined).
