Apple Time Capsule (early 2009) 500GB for $180, is this a good product?

I think Apple made some updates in September, right? what did they change?

is the early 2009 version or Time Capsule a good buy, 500 GB for $180 (from small dog, but you have to go though dealmac to get this price).

I am about to set up a ASUS router (Tomato) with USB port, and I am not sure how easy it is to set up time machine with it. I might just as well spend some dough and get it right and save headaches.

It's the dual band model, so that makes it well worth it.

I've got a few installations where some of those could come in real handy. Hope that deals lasts for another 24 hours or so...
