I am currently on a small veg kick.
Mostly, I felt I wasn't getting enough veggies, so I decided it would be a good idea to eat them nearly exclusively for an indeterminate amount of time.

I stopped eating red meat a long time ago anyway, so the next time I eat meat it will be either turkey or chicken.

I am not that strict about my "diet" now, anyhow, so I had a grilled chicken sandwich last Thursday.

I haven't eaten meat, other than fish, in around years. However if I happened to be traveling through Memphis I'd stop in at Rendevouz for the best dry rub ribs in the history of mankind.

Meatsa Pizza. I could not help myself and my friends encouraged me so they could get some too. I was never deadly serious because my kitchen is so small cooking was a pain. Canned stuff has oodles of sodium which I do not need.

Geez, Jesse... could have at least gotten a Whataburger! Or a JitB taco!

heh.

Actually, my daughter reports that McNuggets are now real chicken, as in cut up breast meat rather than formed chichen-meatenous-patty-blobs. And she reports they are quite tasty.

McD chicken strips are good, and were selling well. Maybe they took this as a sign that folks might actually like real chicken in their nuggets.

It was my daughters happy meal that put me over the edge. We didn't have a JITB then, is that actually meat that they put in thier tacos?

Nobody knows what's in a JitB taco. Or want's to know. All we know is that they are strangely satisfying and somewhat addicting.

I know a couple people who claim they don't eat anything with a face.

Me, I'm happy to tell everyone how I don't eat anything with a mustache.

Nothing - I'm still a vegetarian. But I did have a recurring dream about eating a hot dog - of all things - for many, many years after becoming a vegetarian.

There are quite a few good veggie hot dogs on the market, so scratching that particular itch shouldn't be a problem.

My longest meatless stint was probably a month or so: there are just too many tasty meat products out there! However, I still cook vegetarian meals at home more often than not. When I go out to eat, I stick to fish, chicken, and pork (mmmm, can't beat good carnitas or al pastor!). I have a burger every 2-3 months (In-n-Out or one of the *real* burger joints in town, like Mo's or Joe's Cable Car), and maybe one steak annually.

Haven't eaten at a big, national fast food chain restaurant in many years. Even all-real-chicken-meat McNuggets aren't that tempting.

for my sister-in-law, it was #1 with bacon. Her downfall was a Red Mill burger one spring day while she was visiting from Tucson. We drove past in my droptop, and she made me circle the block. That small local chain is in the top 20 burger joints in the US. (#17?) [www.redmillburgers.com]

Bacon gets me every freakin' time. This week I've eaten enough bacon to last a lifetime. It's been Tricia's House of Bacon: Graphic Design Studio and Bacon Emporium. Sooo goooood. God, yes.

I need to stop typing when I'm drunk. Ugh.
