10.3.9 update broke user account?

Updated yesterday so we could use itunes 6 and Quicktime 7 for videos.

When we try to log in to my daughters user account the screen rotates to Blue then does nothing. Have to force a restart to get to back to log in screen.

My two accounts are ok.

Any ideas?

IT sounds like you're using fast user switching.

What happens if you log in ONLY as her instead of using fast user switching?

just tried it,

After I entered the password the progress bar just twirls and and it says logging in. It doesn't progress past that point.

Got it back.

I changed her account from Simplified to Standard.

The first attempt it opened to her desktop but it was very basic. Couldn't even open a Finder window.

Logged out, tried again and everything is back.
