Q: Where does an 800-pound gorilla with menopause sleep?

A: She doesn't -- the night sweats keep her awake all night.

LOL, $tevie.

Hey, if they go through menopause, do they get PMS, too?

rgG,
Yes, they do have all the symptoms that women of age 40ish do, according to the news.
I have got to share this with my woman.

Doesn't seem too terribly surprising. Given that they're one of the more advanced primates, it doesn't seem too far fetched that they'd experience similar symptoms as what women go through.

And of course, at some point, most animals lose the ability to reproduce due to age. I just found out that my 11 yr old female snake is too old to lay eggs. I guess she's hit the snake equivalent to menopause. Too bad because I finally found a suitable stud for her. Oh well.

Hey Stephanie, even though she can't lay those eggs she still might enjoy the stud! ;)

*lol* I did think about that but, unfortunately, the stud would have been a loaner from a friend of mine who runs a reptile rescue.

He was kinda sad about the whole situation, too.

Why do you think its' called MEN-O-PAUSE?

some victorian chauvinist pig took those three words he used to describe his wife among the Fellows at the Club, and it stuck.
