This hits the spot on a cold, stressful winter day! (Must be 21 to enjoy)

After a stressful day full of css, php and climbing 6 foot snow drifts to feed 3 horses your wife left you home to take care off; I have the perfect pick me up.

Hot chocolate and Bailey's caramel flavored Irish Creme.

It's so good!

And here's a tip...keep your Bailey's refrigerated. If the hot chocolate is a little too hot; the Bailey's will cool it off just enough where you won't burn your tongue.

Ahhhhh. That's good!

him carry me, and yet assure myself and others
that I am very sorry for him and wish to ease his
lot by all possible means — except by getting off
his back. - Leo Tolstoy, novelist and Philosopher

Nice choice. Hadn't thought of Bailey's and hot chocolate. We usually just put it in coffee. Always refrigerated, yes. Good luck with the neigh-sayers.

I have to find the old recipe I had for Hot Buttered Rum. I learned it while I was up in Alaska back in the early '70s. You made a base with a good vanilla ice cream; added brown sugar, real butter, I think cinnamon and possibly a few other things. Once the base mixture was made, it was kept in the freezer. You'd scoop a dollop of said base into a mug, and add hot water. I don't remember if the rum went in with the hot water or was part of the mixed base. Yummm! smiling smiley

I go for the tuaca and hot spiced cider on cold days.

Oooo, I've never had caramel flavored Baileys, but I like the regular and I love caramel so I'm sure I would love it. Too bad there isn't any in my fridge and it is sleeting outside, so a trip to the store right now is unlikely. sad smiley

I'm thinking about Irish Coffee... Too bad it's incompatible with the pain meds I'm on.

Nothing like a nice glass of Hennessey's to keep ya warm on a cold day... or night...

Hot Buttered Rum

Is that the recipe?

wouldn't the powdered/confectioner's sugar cause a slurry in the bottom of the mug from the corn starch used to prevent clumping?
