Conan O might go to FOX. He is such a loser comedian....I can't imagine anyone else wants him.

Do you realize that he once worked for a FOX show, he was a writer for The Simpsons.

I thought it would be cable - didn't think FOX would want to entertain the idea of another failed late night show. O'Brian could make the difference.

He's into characters and doing quirky physical comedy... I tried liking it. But, it gets old.

However, I really like Triumph the insult comic dog... That's really funny.

Jay Leno is a better comedian.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, both awful.
the whole lot of them late night clowns are seldom as funny all together as a Daily Show or Colbert Report.

I like Dave, always have.
I like Conan AND Andy, always have (I just turned 40).
I do not like Jay in the least... to me, he has no 'edge' (or soul for that matter). He should retire.

I really hope Conan lands OK on this... last I heard, NBC was backing him.
I also think Conan works way better in NYC than L.A.

I haven't like Conan much since Andy left - what 10 years ago.

Dave is OK, but was funnier about 20 years ago. Monologue is weak, but the second bit is much better.

Leno has the best monologue (not great, just better than Dave or Conan), a better comedian, but he is no Johnny.

My favorite is Craig Ferguson. But watching him interview female guests can be painful at times (wheras Jay can interview no one, and Dave can do an OK job of he is in the mood).

Haven't seen more than 5 minutes of the ABC guy since after the first show. Doesn't seem funny - wasn't funny on the Man Show or MTV.

Conan trumps Leno in spades.

True.

then again, I'm under 50.

And I'm not.

I like Dave, always have.

Likewise.

Andy's been back for a while now. But from what little I've seen, he's a mere shadow of Ed McMahon rather than a partner in comedy/crime (depending on how you feel about Conan.

I do not like Jay in the least... to me, he has no 'edge' (or soul for that matter). He should retire.

Likewise, at least as a host is concerned. I don't find any of his bits funny and his interview style is really pretty bad. Like many bad hosts, his "interviews" of guests are all too often just ops to talk about himself. Why even bother with guests.

He's into characters and doing quirky physical comedy... I tried liking it. But, it gets old.

However, I really like Triumph the insult comic dog... That's really funny.

It gets old in a hurry. His stuff is a lot like prop comedy. Could he be a distant relative of-- Carrot Top?!

A little Triumph went far for me, but that was very funny. It was a bit of schtick, but it relied on clever and very quick wit.

Carson was the best, Better than Parr, Cavette, and even Allen (though not my much). Carson's humor was generally a little self-deprecating. He never got the big laughs from good jokes. He got them when they bombed, which they did frequently. Which lead to huge laughs. And he did great interviews. His guests had a great time as did we, watching him and them.

And there were some great moments in his shows that others never had.

I see a lot of that in Letterman. He's no Carson, but Johnny liked him.

I think NBC should just replace Leno's 10pm slot with re-runs of Carson and leave Conan alone, and put Leno into retirement. And they could make day each of the week be for a different decade, so viewers most interested in the 1960's Carson could watch on Mondays and the 1990s on Friday.

They've got enough material that they could do this for decades. It would be even cheaper than what it costs them to run Leno, and it might get better ratings.

While I don't like the idea of Conan going to Fox, he should run like a fool to them (or any other competing network) if NBC jerks him around and changes his time slot. The only negative is that it could tarnish his image a bit, working at the loser network that Fox is.

Leno's time has passed. He should retire.

Carson reruns running in the same time slot as Leno's show would clean Leno's clock.
