Hordes of them!
Posted by: kap

As the world turns, we have been inundated with water from the sky in So CA. This morning we woke up to the sound of the marching ants from the entrance door across the living room to the kitchen sink! How to stop this madness? Tia

Are you saying you really could hear ants marching? That is scary. They're escaping as their underground tunnels flood, so, personally, I'd go for the big gun and get out the ant killer. Admittedly I am vicious about insects invading my home in large numbers; an isolated bug or two gets more humane treatment.

This gel stuff has always worked for me- [www.acehardware.com]

Just squeeze some out onto their trails and pretty soon they'll be all over it, take the poison back to the nest and in a couple days you won't see them again.

No, we couldn't possibly hear their goose-stepping ... LOL! A closer look told us why our young pup had such an intense interest in the slow moving line of black peppers. I forgot to ask that whatever remedy suggested here it would need to be pet safe.

Aardvarks are cute, but wouldn't it be cheaper to bring an anteater up to California? Airline fares from Africa are so high nowadays.
