But I'm glad the Saints won. Now if only the Lions...

It probably was pass interference, he was knocking into him and tripping him, but maybe the ball was not catchable (I thought there was a hold on the play, but hey). Strange game though, with all those fumbles. Love Brett, but that last pass will just haunt him now.

Yeah, the Vikings did not take care of the ball, nor did they protect Brett well enough. And to let a dumb penalty take them out of field goal range was inexcusable.

I think the Colts are going to win another Super Bowl, which is OK with me, even though I was rooting for the Jets.

Given that GB, Dallas, Philly, New England and the Cardinals got knocked out of it, the Playoffs aren't a total disappointment, even though I wanted to see Brett get a last shot at the Super Bowl.

Five turnovers, tho. Saints should've wiped the floor with 'em.

DP, I agree with both your posts.

Not particularly "glad" the Saints won, but not a huge deal.

It was brutal watching Favre take all of those hits. IMO, he played heroically.

People may focus on his last interception because the Vikings may well have won it otherwise, but you have to remember that Favre is the primary reason the Vikings got as far as they did in the first place.

Just glad to see someone different in the SB. Whether they can best the Colts is another story.

Even with all the pressure put on their offense and Favre, Vikings ultimately beat themselves. There's enough blame to go around.

Agreed.

Either way, whether the Vikings or the Saints won, one of my teams is going to the SB.

Given the performance of each team this season, a Colts-Saints SB should come as no surprise at all.

It is what it is.
