Had never seen the Alamo so decided to fly down and check it out. Very pretty.

If you go to San Antonio forget the Mexican market...junk and tourist food. Go to La Fonda on the Main...super super place to feast.

Did the River boat ride and the whole 9 yards. Hot..101 for a couple of days. Didn't see any computer stores...but did see a man jump off the top of a parking garage....splat.......

The river walk. And have dinner at La Tierra.

The Alamo is surreal. Surrounded my a modern city. Did you get any pictures?

Stayed at La Mansion del Rio last time there … great, historic hotel. Beautiful rooms overlooking the River Walk. 5 Star dining room.

Just flew in from Cleveland...

Hey, bfd, so did we -- (stayed at the La Mansion del Rio). Gorgeous hotel, beautiful view of the Riverwalk. A fun vacation; even the kids enjoyed just walking the river and looking at everything.

Though my then three-year-old daughter said there were too many chickens running around (pigeons).

Last time I was in San Antonio I had the best Mexican/Tex-mex food I ever had at a place that you would not think to be good because of the name: "Nacho Mama's"
