Anyone have a Vacation Budget Template for MS Excel?
Posted by: Zoidberg
Date: April 24, 2006 11:57AM
My wife is looking for one -- she keeps finding them at MS itself, but they say "windows version only" which I find odd (since a document is a document is a document).

If anyone has one for Excel (or even Filemaker Pro) I'd appreciate a copy!

Thanks!

It won't let her download it; even when she spoofs as a Windows machine running IE6.

Yes, I'm sure Mrs. Zoidberg was looking to download 32 different templates for this project.

Sorry, I thought for a minute that you could actually use your brain for thinking, not sitting. My mistake.

I would have used the keyword VACATION to narrow the choices, but again, my apologies for expecting you to do anything other than asking for a link to the page.

WHiiP, are you this hostile in real life?

I asked for page for the particular template she's interested in. That way, I could check out how the link works, or maybe download and post it.

Do you ever regret insulting people who are just otherwise trying to be helpful?

Guys guys guys -- let me buy everyone a round of drinks.

Let me find out which one (if any of these; the page the search results on looked different, I think). (She's off at the doc's now, I will PM or post when she gets back.)

I was under the impression I WAS helping you with a link to the MS templates that included the vacation planner.

What I received from you was certainly not welcoming in any context. Yes, I replied in kind.

Had this happened in real life, face to face and with your response being over the wall sarcastic, then I would have been equally sarcastic.

But then, we wouldn't be face to face in this specific context without some level of familiarity and I would imagine the tone would be quite different.
