Will this work?

I have a Summa T750 Plotter/cutter that has a Parellel port
and a Serial port. I am currently using the Serial port to
operate the plotter from my PM7600. I am wanting to also
use the plotter from my DP500 at times. My question is
can I connect via (USB to Parellel adapter) to the plotter from
my DP500 into the parellel port on the plotter at the same
time I am connected to the PM7600 via the Serial port on
the plotter without damage?

whether it would work is a different question - but as far as using the two ports without fear, I'm sure you can.
