Good to see so many (hopefully ex-) DM'ers here. Brian gave me the boot last night in response to my posting a reference (not even a link) to tempe's new forum. Well, so be it; after 8 years, 13,000+ posts, and tons of useful advice dispensed, I'm no longer a member of the DM forum. No worries, though -- it looks like I'll be in VERY excellent company here. Thanks to Larry and crew for the new digs!

Keef, check your sig gif. It's loading really slowly and behaving strangely. As in it never stops loading, at least for me.

You know it's weird. It works fine in the other threads, like the one about the DM movie, it's just this thread. I'm in Firefox, too. It never stops loading.

Very strange. Oh well, as long as it's an isolated incident, I guess it really doesn't matter much. Sorry to bother you.

This rash of bannings on DM is totally uncalled for. I was willing to work with the new format over there and try to make something good of it, but there's only so much high-handedness I'm willing to tolerate from The Management over there.

So good to see so many familiar faces over there. So many of you made Dealmac worth visiting, and I look forward to helping build a better place over here.

UPDATE: Posting privileges have been restored to my DM account, even though last night I PM'd Brian and asked him to delete it. Those of you whom have been banned yet want to continue to post at DM should check to see if you have also been reinstated. Those of you (like me) who no longer give a rat's patootie about DM -- great!:-)

It's great to see so many DM regulars here.

One thing I always liked about the DM forum was it's nice, clean, easy-to-read layout. This is Brian's software running this new forum, isn't it? I really like the look!
