Hmm... I no longer have my Epson printer, can't find its serial #, but I did find a copy of its sales receipt, w/the original UPC from the box attached to it. Will this get me anywhere?

Or, can Epson supply me w/the serial # if (big if) I registered the printer w/them, back in 2001?

I sent one of mine in, for which I only had the receipt but not the serial number. I included a copy of the receipt with my claim; we'll see if I get the refund for that one.

Orig UPC prob' includes the serial #, just not marked as such.

If you registered the printer with Epson, they will send you a completed claim form automatically. If you didn't register and don't have the serial number, then you're just sol.

PeterW, we'll see if that's true. I think their wording is generic enough that you only have to prove you bought the printer-- and a receipt certainly does that.

I got two of those claim forms, and maybe I'm dense, but what exactly do you have to do with them?

After a number of years, I have NO clue where I bought them - could be one of 20 places - each.

They know I bought them and when, since they sent me the form - help me, I guess I'm a total loser!

If you got the form in the booklet from the Claims Administrator, you only have to send it back if you want one of the optional settlements and you don't need to fill in the Section B info (the printer info section). Just fill in Section C, sign it and send it back.
