I did the PayPal gift certificate for $50 for my daughter a few minutes ago, and it was painless. Had to temporarily set up PayPal as the funding source for my iTunes account to pay for the certificate, did the online business, and opted to print it out instead of having it emailed to her, as she'll be home for the Holidays.

I immediately cancelled the PayPal account billing after buying the gift.

If you buy the $50 gift certificate *YOU* get 25 free iTunes songs, which is pretty cool...opting for the $20 one, you get 10 free iTunes songs. Have a merry Xmas!
