Hi everyone,

This question came up for me recently. I can't seem to figure it out from Sonnet's pages-- they do have a firmware updater to update to a version 4.5 of the firmware which supports larger (>137GB) drives, but it's not clear that the updater will work on a card other than the one they list (ATA133, HD, and Trio). I believe the card is an ACARD AEC-6260, if that matters.

I don't know about large drive support - the largest drive I'm using with it is 100-120GB

"*High capacity [larger than 137GB] hard drives are supported in OS 9.x and OS 10.2.x using firmware version 3.5.0, 4.5 or later." (from Trio page: [www.sonnettech.com]) - again, no mention of the ATA66 card, so I guess asking Sonnet is the way to go...

StingMe, yes, I saw those pages-- unfortunately, they don't answer my question. I found a firmware updater that will take the card to v3.2.2 of its firmware, but I wasn't able to find any commentary about what that firmware update does, relative to prior versions, nor about whether this card does or will ever support large drives.
