All I'm saying is ...

I have a 9600 PM that's older than BOTH of kids and I'm never going to give it up. I fire it up every 4-5 months. It has shareware on it from Compuserve's Mac forum circa like 1992.

It's heavy as hell.

I used one for a server at my kid's old school. As far as I know t's still in use.

I still use my 8600 at work, and we still use a 9500 with a G3 upgrade in our Tech Pubs group for OS 8 and 9 stuff.

Stout machines. The early beige G3s weren't any faster than the 9600/300s and 350s.
