Can anyone point me to an app that will take a 40 gig folder and burn it to however many DVD-R it needs?? I need to be able to pull individual files off the burned discs as well without having to restore them somehow. I know Toast 7 has disc spanning which is supposed to do this but I've read of corruption problems in the current version and won't use it until an update fixes that. any other options??

If you've purchased an external hard drive in the last year or two, you may already have a copy of Retrospect Express 6.0. It comes bundled with many hard drives (including those from OWC). For Panther, v6.0 works fine. An updater (to v6.1) is available for full 10.4.x compatibility.

Retrospect will also compress the files so you won't require as many discs.
