I had downloaded the free one month trial a while back and found that it was too complicated for me. I haven't used PSE since 4 or 5, so even though this is supposed to be a lighter version than the full Photoshop app, I don't have enough experience to jump right in to it.

But at this price, I figured that It was worth buying to give myself a chance to just "play around" with it. Maybe I can pick it up?

No.

But it's a really handy app for folks who only need PS for web stuff, and don't need or want the full fledged version.
