I have the GLH running again and we painted the rest of it today. It should be done by the end of the month.

Nice work.

I had a Shelby. I even remember calling their office (so cal?) and asking about some problem I head with a valve cover gasket or such.

It was MURDERED on 12/23/95 by a lady who ran a red light and totalled it. sniff sniff..

Did you see the one on eBay this week?

Well the glhS

I remember they had (later?) a RWD kit, and I think a V8 either with it or usually you WANTED them together.

Nice, but one is enough work for me.
Sorry for your loss. I bought this one wrecked with plans of a quick repair and clean up. The snowball effect took over, but it's nearing the end of the hill.

Is that your shop? I went shopping for a 86-86 Shelby Charger a hundred or so years ago, but they were all beat to @#$%&. Now a Shelby Rampage, that's the ticket.

That's our shop. We out grew the two car garage last year.

Clean Turbo Dodge are getting harder to find. There are quite a few people out there grabbing them up and stockpiling parts. Since we bought this one in late 2007, I've noticed the amount of parts out there drop off quite a bit.
Now with Fiat at the helm of Chrysler, I suspect the old parts wil be going to the dumpster. Same as Chrysler did to the AMC parts when they took over AMC.

I delivered pizzas with a guy in the late 80s who had a GLH-S. Dang fast and nimble car.

There's a guy who lives near mick e with two Yugos.

They are just sitting there, waiting to be rescued.

I used to deliver pizza with a GLH. Fun car when the transmissions or shifter linkage was not breaking

is that a homegrown Chrysler engine or was that sourced from Mitsubishi or another foreign maker?

I cured the shifter issue with new linkage. And the trans was beefed up with some heavy duty internals.

The 2.2 was all Chrysler. They partnered with different companies for high performance heads, but the core of the engine was Mopar. If I remember right it was designed by the same engineer that came up with the slant six.

the 2.2, and later the 2.5 were all Chrysler. The 2.6 was a Mitsubishi POS. The sub-2.0 liters were also Mitsubishi engines.

I always wanted a Dodge Spirit RT with Lotus (designed) heads.
Or the 1991 VNT turbo engine.

But, they both had their issues. I passed on more than a few. But I would love them.
